About the Fund
The Tariq & Rachel Memorial Fund is an advisory fund established to provide meaningful, immediate, and long-term support to families affected by suicide and murder-suicide. Led by a small advisory circle, the fund channels contributions into healing, prevention, and education.
This fund exists for three core purposes:
Crisis Support for Families
Providing small grants, emergency financial assistance, therapy stipends, burial support, and grief services to families navigating the aftermath of suicide or murder-suicide. These grants help families stabilize, breathe, and begin their path toward healing.
Prevention & Education
Supporting suicide prevention programs, youth initiatives, mental-health training, community workshops, and early-intervention strategies—especially in communities that have been overlooked, underserved, or left without access to lifesaving resources.
Branded Merchandise Line for Ongoing Support
A portion of the fund is sustained through a purposeful merchandise collection inspired by the TDB-YKWIS line. Items such as shirts, wristbands, journals, pins, and memorial symbols raise awareness, spark conversation, and generate consistent charitable revenue. Every product becomes a tribute—allowing Tariq and Rachel’s names to continue touching lives through daily reminders of hope and resilience.
